I am having a difficult time mixing my nut butter! What can I do that will help?


On a rare occasion, some nut butters are more difficult to mix than others, the reason for this occurrence may be due to two variables: date of production (if a product is nearing expiration) or the nuts/legumes themselves (some naturally produce more oil than others). Try storing the nut butter upside-down for a day or two and then mix, if you are successful, store the nut butter in the refrigerator to prevent oil from nut butter separation. If this method fails, exchange the nut butter for a new item with a different best by date.
